Welcome to our Newest Member!  Herb Dubois made Safe Harbor his church home on Sunday, April 3rd.  Herb comes to us by transfer from Majority Baptist Church.  We welcome you to the family of Safe Harbor UMC.

Easter Lilies!  Place flowers on the Altar in honor or memory of someone special.   Lilies are $14.00 each.  Orders are due by April 17th for display on Easter Sunday.

Camp Wesley Pines!  Camp for the Older Elementary students (entering 4-6 Grades) will be held on July 11th through 15th.  Get your application filled out and turned in to the office with $125.00 by Sunday, July 3rd.

Here's a NEW way to count your blessings!  If you receive a blessing, respond by dropping a quarter in the offering plate.  Through this practice, we'll start recognizing more and more blessings in our life.  Quarters will go toward the Playground Fund.  We have deposited $7,327.25!  So far, that's 29,288 Blessings!

Back Pack Buddy Program.  Let's fill our bin to the rim!  We are still taking donations of pop tarts and pasta with meat for the back pack buddy program.   Drop your gifts in the bins located in the foyer.  Thank you for helping feed a child in our area who would otherwise go hungry!

If you like small groups, don't miss the next Pacer's Prayer Group on Tuesday, April 12th, at 9:00 a.m.  Everyone is invited to join in this time of praying for others.  Immediately following prayer group, we have a Small Group Bible Study.

Angel Food Ministries!  Place your order by April 13th.  This month's food delivery date will be Saturday, April 23rd, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Gym.   Place orders online or at Safe Harbor UMC before or after Sunday services.  More information can be found on the Angel Food Ministries Website or contact Alicia Clouse at 228-627-4120.

We offer a meal each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. for those living the busy life and don't have time to cook before Bible Study!  These delicious meals are prepared by our very own Patsy Rouse, Chef Extraordinaire.  We invite you to join us April 13th for our next Supper Service.  Don't forget, keep it going by placing your donation in the basket provided at the meal.

This month's Amazing Grays Luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 14th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Gym.  Bring a dish and a friend!

The Father / Son Horn Island Retreat is scheduled for Friday, April 15th, and Saturday, April 16th.

The Prayers And Squares Quilting Group will meet again on Saturday, April 16th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Gym.

The Safe Harbor Kidz Easter Celebration will be on Saturday, April 16th, from 11:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. at the home of Paul and Angie Ring.  We will have hot dogs, chips, drinks, games, and an Easter Egg Hunt!

Drama Team practice will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17th.

The Finance Committee will meet in Room 103 on Sunday, April 17th, at 4:30 p.m.

Confirmation Class continues on Sunday, April 17th, at 4:45 p.m.

The Circle Of Faith will meet on Monday, April 18th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Gym.   All women are invited and encouraged to come be a part of this United Methodist Women's Ministry.

There will be a special Maundy Thursday Service on April 21st at 7:00 p.m.

Living Cross!  Bring real flowers on Easter Sunday to decorate the Living Cross that will be in front of the church.  You can purchase flowers or pick them from your own yard!

Easter Sunday is April 24th.  We will have our regular morning services but there will be no evening activities or service.  Have a blessed day!

The Guiding Light Drama Team will present "The Accused" on Sunday, April 24th.

The Safe Harbor Kidz Zoo Trip is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th.  Mark your calendars!  More details to come.

Panda Mania!  We are gearing up for Vacation Bible School.  This year's VBS will be held Sunday, June 26th, through Thursday, June 30th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  We need volunteers in all areas (teaching, arts and crafts, serving, cleanup, setup, and registration).  A volunteer sign-up sheet will be available soon!
