Opportunities To Worship/Fellowship

Sunday
     8:00 a.m. - "Time That Makes A Difference" (WLOX-TV13)
     8:45 a.m. - Peace Time Worship Service.   A completely different worship experience!  At 8:45 a.m. each Sunday
                    we participate in technology and ritual in a "Quietly Intense" time with God.  Personal testimonies,
                    uplifting music, and shared prayers abound.  God moves around us and in us!
     9:15 a.m. - Coffee & Fellowship (Gym)
     9:30 a.m. - Sunday School.  Sunday School classes are available every Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.  We
                    also offer a Sunday evening Ladies Sunday School class each Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
    10:30 a.m. - God's Time Worship Service.  A traditional time of worship!  Each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. we worship by
                      bringing the Word through hymns and Holy Communion (first Sunday of each month).
     4:30 p.m. - United Methodist Youth Fellowship.   Keeping our 12 to 18 year olds grounded in the Word and
                     Love of God is important to us here at Safe Harbor.  This is why we offer a Junior United Methodist
                    Youth for our 6th thru 8th graders and a Senior United Methodist Youth for our 9th thru 12th graders.
                     Each group has their very own youth ministers and their own space created by them for them.
     6:00 p.m. - Spirit Time Worship Service.   A contemporary service featuring our very own Harbor Song Praise Band
                     each Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday Morning
Pacer's Prayer Group - The Pacers of Safe Harbor is a small group that mets each Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m., joining together in prayer, lifting those in need to God.

Small Group Bible Study - Each Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. we join together for a small group Bible Study taking each book of the Bible one at a time.

Wednesday Evening
Bible Study - We offer Bible Study each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

News

Our condolences to the family of Charles Manning. Charles went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 11th. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Welcome! Join us in welcoming Jonathan Kirkpatrick and Reed Gilmore to the family of Safe Harbor. They made us their church family on Sunday, December 11th. Reed also received holy baptism on this day as well.

Wednesday Evening Services. In an effort to help you get your little ones to bed at a decent time, we have changed our Wednesday worship times. Supper will begin at 5:45 p.m. and Bible Study, Safe Harbor Kidz, and United Methodist Youth will start at 6:45 p.m.

We are in need of a new church directory! We also need someone to oversee it! If you are interested, please contact the church office.

Here's a NEW way to count your blessings! If you receive a blessing, respond by dropping a quarter in the offering plate. Through this practice, we'll start recognizing more and more blessings in our life. Quarters will go toward "Change For Children". We have deposited $1,122.25! So far, that's 4,489 Blessings!

We offer a meal each Wednesday evening at 5:45 p.m. for those who live the busy life and don't have time to cook before Bible Study! These delicious meals are prepared by our very own Patsy Rouse, Chef Extraordinaire. We invite you to join us January 18th for our next Supper Service. Don't forget, keep it going by placing your donation in the basket provided at the meal. Adult Bible Study, Safe Harbor Kidz, and United Methodist Youth follow at 6:45 p.m.!

Women In Worship. "Celebrating A Decade Of Miracles" will be held at Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile, AL, on January 20th and 21st. You can purchase tickets at womeninworship.org or by calling 251-300-8400.

The Prayers And Squares Quilting Group will meet again on Saturday, January 21st, at 10:00 a.m. in the Gym.

The Staff Parish Relations Committee will meet next Sunday, January 22nd, at 5:00 p.m. in Room #104.

The Shepherd Ministry will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 24th, in Room #104.

Calling all United Methodist Women! Your monthly meeting will be held in the Gym on Thursday, January 26th, at 6:30 p.m.

EWomen Conference 2012. This year's conference is scheduled for April 20th and 21st at the Pensacola Civic Center. Registration prices vary, but there is a discount for early registration. There are forms in the foyer with times and rates. Contact Peggy McMahon for more details.
